At the end of each year, entities that have made withholding payments are required to lodge an annual report. There are different annual reports depending on the type of payments made. Entities that have employees and other workers will need to lodge a PAYG withholding payment summary annual report.
This annual report may be lodged by paper, using forms supplied by the Tax Office, or electronically.
The entity must comply with the following criteria to ensure the information provided is correct. The <PAYG Withholding Payment Summary Annual Report> field:
Please note that if the entity selects ‘Paper form supplied by the Tax Office’, as the method of reporting, they will not be able to ‘self print’ payment summaries. The forms will be sent to them.
