If you cannot complete your application, you can save it and return to it at a later time (within seven days).
- When you first start your application, on the Begin Application screen:
- you are allocated a reference number, and
- you are asked to set up a password.
You must take note of the reference number and the password if you wish to save your application and return to it at a later time. Otherwise, you will have to start a new application.
- The option of saving your application will be given to you and will be available on each screen where the button <Save/Exit> appears at the bottom of the screen. You must select the <Next> button to save information entered on a completed screen. If you select the <Save/Exit> button on the following screen your application will be saved including all details you have already entered on the preceding screen.
By selecting <Save/Exit>, your application will be saved for seven days. If you have not resumed and submitted your saved application within seven days, it will be permanently deleted.
- On the Exit Application screen select the <save and exit> link and you will be able to return to your application within seven days to complete and submit it.
- The Application Saved screen will confirm that you have saved your application and will display your reference number. Check the displayed number has been recorded correctly for later reference. Select <Exit> to return to the home page. Selecting the <Back> button will return you to the last screen of your application.
When returning to the ABR Home page you may resume your saved application by selecting <Continue a saved application> from the left hand menu and entering your reference number and password on the following screen.
